I had a great stay at Serengeti Self Catering Units. The location was perfect, being close to the mall and shops. The apartment was spacious and neat, with a fresh smell when I entered. The communication with the host was also excellent. The facilities in the room were complete and the beds were comfortable. It was a convenient place to base myself and explore the attractions in and around Cape Town.

I was disappointed that there was no cleaning service provided during my stay. It would have been nice to have that taken care of, especially after a long day of activities.

The lady from whom we received the key should not be working with guests. She was very unfriendly and made us feel unwelcome.

I arrived at the gate at 23h00 from Beaufort West at Serengeti and nobody was available to answer my calls. Called both a landline and Dirk on a cellphone, nobody answered. There were other guests that drove from jhb, they managed to get through on a landline and managed to get the keys to their unit, while my calls was ignored. I had to find another hotel in the middle of the night. I had to go and look for another hotel. Very upset and disappointed very unprofessional.

The units did not smell fresh.
